There’s no more certain method to assure Obama’s reelection. I am beginning to be resigned to (yet again) have a Republican candidate who clearly isn’t conservative - yet is, nonetheless, head and shoulders above whomever the Demonrats could ever nominate.

I would like to see the media take the role of Chevy chase, and various republicans take on the role of the gopher, until the media runs out of wads to shoot off in attempts to destroy them.

That is what the media is doing now, except the gophers are giving up, one by one.
