Alamosa has small population and it’s mostly just college students (which would explain more that it would go to Romney over Santorum (but not explain why they didn’t go for Paul).
Gunnison is way more conservative than Alamosa. They’ve got a lot of old family farming / hunting people live there.
Santorum and Romney trading leads with Rick up by ~180 votes on CNN and Romney up by ~50 at the GOP site.
