Mitt Romney Struggles to Seal the Deal (Matt Drudge, Ann Coulter, GOP-e stooges deeply saddened...)

Mitt Romney's march to a possible Republican presidential nomination just got a lot longer and harder.

Front-runner Romney left Tuesday's round of three nominating contests with another reminder of his own shortcomings, after a two-state winning streak that had placed him firmly in the driver's seat in the nomination race.

Bad losses to rival Rick Santorum in Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota raised more questions about whether conservative Republicans are ready to give their hearts to a millionaire former Massachusetts governor who once supported abortion rights and a government requirement that people have health insurance.

There has never been a question of conservative support for Mitt Romney: it’s “NEVER HAS BEEN, NOT NOW, NOT EVER!” If the media thinks that conservatives have ever supported Romney, they are dreaming!

RICK SANTORUM 2012!

What would be great is if in Virginia, the people, in protest, overwhelmingly vote for Paul over Romney. Not that I’m a Paul fan but the more states that Mitt doesn’t win, the better. With Gingrich off the ballot in MO, it was cleary shown (by 30 points) that a conservative would pummel Romney in a two man race.

Let Gingich pummel Romney in the South, and Santorum in the Midwest so he is denied enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot. Then we can have a real conservative nominee and the democrats won’t know who to go after until late Summer.

What a great scenario. Yes. Please. This. Let it be.

Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado results: A sweep for Santorum

Rick Santorum dealt an embarrassing setback to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign Tuesday night, sweeping non-binding contests across three states and raising new questions about conservatives’ willingness to accept Romney as their nominee.

Santorum beat Romney handily in the Missouri primary and Minnesota caucuses, and well after midnight on the East Coast he was also declared the winner of Colorado’s caucuses. He defeated Romney by 30 percentage points in Missouri, 55 percent to 25 percent; in Minnesota, Santorum took 45 percent to Ron Paul’s 27 percent and Romney’s 17 percent.

“Santorum’s biggest appeal, according to PPP, is with tea partyers, Evangelicals, and voters who describe themselves as “very conservative” – all groups who had been leaning toward Gingrich, but now seem to be abandoning him for Santorum”

I'd already seen that article, it didn't answer my question.

But Catherine Santorum, the former senator’s mother, told WND, “I was born in the country; I have my birth certificate, and I have the citizenship papers of my husband Aldo,” Rick Santorum’s father

So if the document exists, what is the answer?

When and under what circumstances did Aldo Santorum naturalize?

I think that is Newt and Rick’s Plan exactly.

If so. Both should hammer away at Mittens and not trade body blows with each other.

Results Mittens has to spend 2x money.

I’m truly saddened to see that Ann Coulter has joined the ranks of the Mitt-wits. She never struck me as a go-along-to-get-along establishment type. Ann, we never knew ye.
