Oh, I’d still go to Penney’s, and every chance I get I’ll tell them why I’m not BUYING anything :)

“There was even a blacklist in Hollywood that banished perceived leftwing job seekers”

And today there is a blacklist against conservatives. What is BOR doing about that?

Not to criticize the spirit of your post, but who's to tell? The $8.00/hr clerk? Even the manager will be a low-level flunkee.

In my opinion, Kim Kardashian is a far worse role model than Ellen, and the Million Moms might want to check that out. Kardashian is all over the media peddling an aggressively self-involved image that is anything but healthy for teenage girls.

Mr. Baxter is right on that one. Just the same, though, picking Ellen as a representative is the kind of thing that happens when a business is taken over by MBAs trained to take the path of least resistance and the marketing is out-sourced to people who are not much interested in increasing traffic or revenue but very interested in being ultra-hip and "edgy" and impressing their peers (who probably wouldn't shop at Penney's anyway.

If a store simply concentrates on value, prices and service it would not need to waste money on celebrity spokespeople.

It won’t be long before we see O’Reilly wearing suits from the new ‘Jerry Sandusky’ line of men’s clothing at J.C. Penney’s...

I unsubscribed from Penny's list yesterday, too, after finding out about Ellen Degenerate being their spokesMAN.

McCarthy was right. Ellen is wrong.

Whom to tell? Anyone. Better yet, organize a party and have several dozen shoppers drop the suggestion, then it will be sure to reach ears higher up.
While there, find some advertising with a postage-paid card or envelope, and use it to mail a message.
I am trying to confine my remarks to legal activities, but you’ll excuse me I have to go scream now...

Joe McCarthy was right. Commies had infiltrated US gov’t, industry, media, & entertainment. He was right to point out their un-American activities. They weren't there just to do a job & get a paycheck. They were planted there to destroy this country & our way of life.

“In this country, you have a right to be a communist” - O’Reilly.

While that may be legally true, communism is clearly un-American, as is islamism. IMO, employers have a right to hire/fire employees for any reason, or no reason at all. If an employer doesn't want to support un-American activities with his payroll dollars, that should be his right. And a blacklist is a boycott by another name - both legitimate political expression.

As a news commentator, O'Reilly doesn't want to actually DO anything about un-Amarican activities & activists in our country, he just wants to talk about them. He wants to expose extremists in our midst, but we would be wrong to act on that knowledge with blacklists, boycotts, & other forms of protest.

My 84 year old Mother-in-law has shopped at JCP since the beginning of time. Her JCP credit card is the only credit card she has. Like many of the old Southerners here, she refers to shopping at JCP as ‘trading’.

Since Ellen Degenerate has become the spokesthing, my MIL has had some questions for me. Yes, Ellen is a lesbian. Yes, even though you and millions of other Americans represent other values, her way of life is valued more than yours.

My mother-in-law has made the decision to ‘trade’ elsewhere. No worries, I will help her find kitchen curtains for her family farmhouse, sheets and other household items elsewhere.

And she was delighted to hear of being able to cut her credit card in half and mail it to JCP to make a statement.

Exactly...
she is a poster child for lesbian, No Hate campaign, Obummer and Moochelle-loving, Hollywierd lib life style...
not a typical JCP consumer...
I, too, “boycott” businesses that use these people...
no more JCP for me.

And after the USSR was no more, ex KGB agents CONFIRMED it...
alongwith the fact that the Rosenbergs WERE spies...
So easy to try to ignore the TRUTH!

"...In the 1950s, Sen. Joseph McCarthy got a whole bunch of Americans fired from jobs because he said they were communists..."

Bill O'Reilly once again shows what a smoking hole of liberal claptrap he is. I find it hilarious when some people refer to him as a conservative.

He's no conservative, he's a bag of hot air. Ann Coulter may be wrong on some things, particularly her support of people like Mitt Romney, but her analysis of the treatment of Joseph McCarthy is spot on. One of the things that she hilariously highlights is the liberals use of Joseph McCarthy as one of the stones on their Via Dolorosa (Way of Suffering). She talks about all the people who whine about being persecuted and black listed, and point to Joe McCarthy as the reason.

Ann Coulter correctly points out that Joseph McCarthy was not particularly interested in private citizens who were members of the Communist Party. What he was primarily concerned with were people who were communists who also worked in the US government.

Given the tenor of the times, we should damn well have been concerned about communists working inside our government. As we now know, our government was riddled with communists and communist sympathizers who were giving information to our mortal enemies in the Soviet Union and China.

It's hilarious, to see the way liberals use this type of thing, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that they had been and have been being used as tools by communists. To this day, there are liberals who believe beyond all other things that the Rosenbergs were innocent. This is even in the face of official Soviet publications of gratitude towards them for their work. There are still many liberals who feel the same way about Alger Hiss.

So, when I hear a gasbag like Bill O'Reilly talk about the injustice of McCarthyism, all it does to me is illustrate what an ignorant moron he is.

I agree, look at what allowing open communist scum to live and operate in this country has brought us.

O’Reilly “a gasbag,” good use of the term, and I can’t imagine why a conservative would ever want to watch even a minute of his foolish program.

And as for BOR, how many sharks can one show jump?

Ellen deserves a UN award! She has single-handedly mainstreamed the homo life! Look! Homo’s care about diet and nutrition! See Ellen jive with the Pres. wife about exercise on her “Oprah” style, fun-loving talk show! Ellen didn’t even show Michelle up with more push-ups! So, cute and funny! Look! Homo’s are all about beauty! See how Ellen looks in her Cover Girl make up?? Wow!! OH, Look!!! Homo’s even wear normal clothes!! See! There’s Ellen at JC Penney’s, an all-American shopping store.

Oh, those MILLION Moms? They are McCarthy-ites.

(sarcastic rant off.)

“But the Moms have rights, too. They don’t have to shop at JCPenney if they believe the company does not hold their values, and they are doing nothing wrong by making their disenchantment known. As long as they don’t try to hurt DeGeneres or any other individual, I have no problem with the Moms.”

It’s always, well they dont have to shop there. Just walk away. No. No mas. Get in their face and attmept to make them change, before you walk away (buy elsewhere). The Moms are right here.
