It is not a political fumble, but an inevitable part of socializing medicine. Socialized medicine takes away our freedoms, group by group, person by person.
Contraceptives are only the tip of the iceberg.
Some groups will howl, of course, but the great masses want free health care. They want the evil insurance companies mandated out of existence. Obama will survive these momentary “fumbles” during his inexorable march to health care utopia.
That’s correct. Obama just made the insurance companies proxies in order to accomplish his anti-life agenda instead of directly from Catholic employers.
It’s the old bait and switch. And he’s still rubbing the Catholic’s noses in it. The question now is, will they let him get away with it, both in the short and long run?
My husband thinks the topic will be old news by this week, the media won’t cover it any more and it’ll be forgotten. I hope he’s wrong. But he might not be.
