In fact, every American needs to do so, regardless of their religious beliefs or even if they're atheists.
We have natural rights, given to us by God, or, if you wish, rights we have inherently because we are human beings, that no government can remove, although they can repress, with violence and in violation to human rights.
We see it all the time; the vast majority of the Earth's people are often under this oppression, but we in America threw off this governmental aggression and codified our rights by putting them in our Constitution, which is the American document by which the United States government derive their power and moral authority.
This includes the President of the United States. He cannot just make a rule that violates the Constitution. He does not have the authority.
To that end, he MUST be opposed. It is NOT good enough that, because he got some political pressure, he's “relenting” and giving in a very little bit by obfuscating who “pays”.
Once again, the whole issue is he does not have any authority to violate the first amendment of the US Constitution.
This must CLEARLY be stated by us all. He has no authority nor power to do so.
Per usual, they are violating their oath of office and must be replaced for their malfeasance wherever possible.
This must CLEARLY be stated by us all. He has no authority nor power to do so.
There is really just no end to the things this guy is doing for which he has no authority. He’s “giving away” billions of dollars of cell phones and cell phone minutes, that is to say forcing taxpaying Americans to buy phones for deadbeats like that garbage on the street outside CPAC this week. Where’s the clause in the Constitution that allows him to steal our money and buy cell phones for dolts and losers?
"Governor Palin...how has the tragic death of Whitney Houston affected your family, and how may it affect your plans for the upcoming primary season?"
AMEN!!! Pay attention here, folks...
Amen, AB!
Wtching ABC, I am totally confused what is so fantastic about what’s been offered on the contraception/religious instituion conflict. Sounds like it is still being offered by the insurance companies and that it will be payed for by the employer. Can anyone explain?
Morning all,
Great post AB! Amen!
“Every American needs to stand together”
I think a lot of them are. I haven’t been watching Hannity much lately - getting home from work late and/or got bored with him. However, I did watch last Friday night and he had a variety of clergy on. There was only 1 Rabbi from NY that was basically OK with it, most/all the rest were not, including another Rabbi. Father Jonathan Morris (a Fox contributor & whom I like very much) was great and a Black Clergyman (I don’t recall his name, but IIRC he was from a church in a Seattle suburb - Kirkland)was Fabulous!!
As Huckabee has said a few times, “We’re all Catholics now”.
Huckabee had a good point on Fox n Friends yesterday a.m.:
Paraphrasing: He takes an aspirin, various vitamins, etc. every day because he chooses to - he doesn’t expect the government to pay for those. Why should all of us be expected to pay for someone’s BC pills - it’s their choice if they choose to take them.
Well said, we are all Catholic at this moment.
