As long as the Saudis and Iranians provide money for extremists, there will be an endless supply of extremists.

The Salafists exist as subsidized agents of the Saudis. Cut off Saudi subsidies, make it necessary for these imams and "activists" to actually WORK for a living, and the extremism would be much reduced.
