Iran has stopped oil exports to six European states in retaliation for European Union sanctions imposed on the Islamic state's key export, its English-language Press TV reported on Wednesday.
"Iran cuts its oil exports to six European countries," Press TV reported.
Press TV said Iran has stopped exporting oil to Netherlands, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
Brent crude oil prices were up $1 a barrel to $118.35 shortly after the announcement.

The oil is going to China and Russia where they will use more and their economies can grow.
France will still get their oil, this may be to influence politics in France.
The Netherlands still controls much shipping, so an oil hold on them means little.
Iran basically cut off four deadbeats and made some news, besides raising prices.

Skyrocketing gas prices are gonna drive the last nails into this fool’s political coffin.
If the democrats don’t stand to make money on a deal like the pipeline, or if they can get more money by blocking it, they will do it.
