Frequency spectrum is a hot commodity - you really think there's a bunch of free spectrum out there that's still waiting around to be used?

My point is that there was more spectrum ‘free’ as in unused for anything else that LightSquared could have bought into. Didn’t say that the licenses weren’t taken, but the people who hold them are selling space. LightSquared just didn’t want to pay for it.
