A very peculiar sci-fi movie called Iron Sky is making its way through the circuit of film festivals in Europe this season, yet it is conspicuously not coming anywhere near the United States. Geez...hits theaters April 4th...

The character in that photo is dressed up to look like Sarah Palin. But I’m afraid she’s just not as good looking. Or smart looking.
Still, interesting idea.

This is about more than Sarah Palin and NAZIs. This film is important in the sense that it is the first movie with significant contributions from fans, both money and actual work on the film. This is a model that can tear down the high obstacles non Hollywood blessed films have in getting made.

A season or two ago, the TV series “Supernatural” had an episode where one of the main charcaters is transported three or four years into the future.
The character finds himself on the outskirts of Kansas City, and part of it is fenced off and guarded by the military. The military is shooting civilians who are infected with a plague which causes them to become violent.
Apparently this plague is widespread, because the main character picks up a newspaper from the ground with the headline, “President Palin Defends Bombing of Houston.”
I forget the exact date on the newspaper, but it was sometime in August, 2014.

GO SARAH!
Has she commented on this portrayal?

From the movie poster - middle left side, one can see a campaign poster for President “S.P.” with her charismatic smile and the slogan “Yes, SHE can”. Reelection 2018. Sounds real good to me.

Awesome! Folks, watch the trailer. I’m looking for a torrent. I don’t quietly crave more, this looks like the movie of the year. This is your big screen Palin hit-piece that misfires. Sweet.
