Isn’t McDonnell a Romney supporter?

I read a lot about some odd-ball getting picked at a brokered convention. I think it's a deliberate scare tactic.

Seems every author forgets to mention that it STILL takes 1,144 delegate votes to win the nomination.

If the first ballot fails, they can vote for whomever they want.

And it doesn't have to be McConnell or Bush.

The Turtle and the Walrus? on stage and campaigning together? That is a mental picture I do NOT want to go to sleep thinking about.

LOL, and it’s even worse for those of us with large touchscreens.

You spray one of those and the PC feels a 1000 inputs at once and tries to follow everything instantly and you have to pull the power and reboot.

So, when was the last GOP convention that got past the first vote?

If he means our courageous senate minority leaders he’s nuts as Jimmy Carter.....Wouldn’t vote for the other guy named either.....Christie? I’d sooner vote for Ron Paul than 2 non vetted insiders. I don’t know either of these guys....The choice will have to be from the 4 left running, you cannot just pick someone at random and run them. Thats even too stupid for republicans to do....

If the first ballot fails, they can vote for whomever they want.

Some states don't release their delegates until after the second ballot.

The GOP-e is delusional. I wouldn’t trust Mitch McConnell to bring my garbage cans to the curb. Christie would bring the cans to the curb. But, he’d probably pull a Costanza and fish out a half-eaten eclair.

A Mitch McConnell/Chris Christie combination would be insane. But, fortunately, Larry Kudlow meant Bob McDONNell, not our zombie-esque, charisma-deficient Senate Minority Leader.

But that combination is still crazy. Why choose candidates from two non-crucial states instead of John Kasich and Marco Rubio from must-win Ohio and Florida?

In any case, if Romney loses Michigan to Santorum it won’t be solely because Romney is awful but also because Santorum is very good at convincing people to vote for him, even when outspent 20 to 1 — an ideal trait for a politician, which should propel Santorum to the nomination and probably the presidency.

I really can't stop laughing at Kudlow for this, especially since I'm such a Palin supporter. I mean, the Convention would turn to McDonnell?

That is like turning to Mitch McConnell!

Speaking of sombreros, if Kudlow insists on Full Metal RINO, can't we go with a guaranteed Open Borders Candidate and end the hypocrisy? You know, like this guy?

Best,

Chris
