...........................As I remember, President’s Day was conjured up to merge commemoration of the b’days of Lincoln (2/12) and Washington 2/22), partly to avoid undue proliferation of nat’l holidays after M. L. King, Jr.’s birthdate was made a national holiday..................................

What ever shall we do once the Most Reverend King and Benefactor of the World, Barack Hussain Obama, is deposed from his throne? Do we honor his Hawaian/Kenyan Birthday; his day of Immaculation; his Day of Dethronement; or his day of death??

Maybe his day of death. We will all need a day off to piss on his grave!

Lincoln's birthday was never a national holiday. Some states celebrated it as a state holiday, but others did not. Nixon called it "Presidents' Day," probably meaning Washington and Lincoln. The media has turned that into a celebration of all the Presidents (except for Jefferson Davis).

Since Obama thinks that all the sufferings of black Americans from 1619 to 2008 were to prepare the way for him to become President, it's no surprise if his wife thinks the purpose of the holiday is to celebrate her husband.
