What Santorum said is that the homsexual argument you have the “right” to marry whoever you love could apply to incest, bestiality and polygamy. And if not, then why does the “law” get to allow some free-will marriages but not others?
Simpson in his dotage cannot understand this basic premise. Dennis Prager in debating this question with a gay activist asked the same question, why not adult incest or polygamy. The activist’s only answer was that incest and polygamy where “icky”. Prager than informed the activist that millions of Americans include homosexuality in the “icky” catagory. Another Prager brilliant statement was that gay people are not discrimated against in marraige. They have the perfect right to marry someone of the opposite sex as everbody else.
Alan Simpson is a nasty, bitter old egomaniac whose best friend in the Senate was Dead Ted Kennedy.
The two vicious hypocrites were made for each other.
The fact is that Simpson’s father made his name by opposing the ‘64 Civil Rights Bill, and exposed himself for the Yellow Dog racist he was.
Like many others before and after him (Joe Scarborough is a current example) little boy Alan has never gotten over his shame and self-loathing and his loathing for the Republicans who knew in fact the stuff that he and his family were made of.

I’m about Simpson’s age. I did my time in WWII. I never was especially in awe of any politician because most of them are big talkers who like to lord it over others who want to be just ordinary citizens and they do convince enough people they are much wiser. The last few times I’ve seen and heard Simpson on TV he has shown my skepticism to be warranted.
