Not to lend credence to Romney’s statement, but it occurs to me that this “1%” include people like Buffett, Gates, Kerry and any number of leftists who are constantly playing the class card.

Maybe we need to start challenging all these “do as I say, not as I do” lie-berals to start walking the walk that they are constantly talking about.

I would rather take the microphone, rather than income or wealth, away from people like Buffett, Soros, Gates, etc. What gives a successful investor or businessman any particular credibility on policy issues, anyway, outside of the narrow interests of their business activities? Why should Congressional committees take testimony from actresses and basketball players?

I suppose it’s the nature of our decadent culture. The so-called “creative class” is just a self-congratulatory name for our modern version of the courtier class.

An ol Texas redneck called in on the radio this morning and said something profound.

He said that the very notion of “class” is unAmerican.
What makes America great is the notion that a rich man and a poor man are equal in the eyes of the law/Government.

Democrats and Republicans both push this notion of Class, which only causes envy and division among us.
