In a day & age where women pay well over $100 a month for cell phones, Twitter, texting, etc, someone needs to explain to me why they cannot fork over $20 a month for their own birth control pills.

Shoes??? No problem—they pay prices that once represented a house payment.

Haircuts??? Those costs now are what I paid for a car payment on the ONLY NEW car I ever owned.

This whole thing puts the bargaining power opposite from where it lies. The Catholic Church operates hospitals not because they are lucrative but because religious charity is a Christian virtue. It is the Church which could say, “If you insist on this we’ll close our doors.” The government has no bargaining leverage. Unless he wants tens of thousands of patients added to the roster of non-Catholic hospitals Obongo must relent.

This government is herding the faithful into our churches and telling us to stay inside until we are ready to join their secular/muslim/marxist society which is ruled by the prince of this world. They think that because the Church serves non-Catholics in its non-liturgical mission, this is not its core religious mission.

I can understand their confusion.

After all, bureaucrats in Washington are running a "Justice Department" that mostly engages in non-justice issues, does not enforce the law on entire groups of people based on race identity, does enforce the law to an extreme on other groups of people based on "social issues" and attacks State governments with lawsuits when THEY enforce the law.
