You are exactly right and Iraqi general George Sada says the same thing. Sada was Hussein’s air force general during the first Gulf War.

I’ve read his book, “Sadam’s Secrets”, and heard him speak after a church service.

It is fascinating reading. He says Hussein trusted him because he was s Christian and wouldn’t BS him. Hussein’s kitchen staff was also Christian to protect him from subversives who would try to poison him.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to catch up on that later. If we could ever get the truth out of what has really occured in the last ten years, hell fifty years, the demonrat party would become a bad memory of the past. Now I guess I really am dreaming....sigh...
