HERMON — A 24-year-old man said he was in a fight for his life when he shot two Bangor men who forced their way into his apartment, mortally wounding one of them.

The shooting took place about 9 a.m. Thursday, when a woman and two men he didn't know burst into his apartment in Hermon, Daniel Williams said. One man came at him with a knife and cut him on the abdomen, he said. One of the men then hit him over the head with an electric guitar before both of them kicked him and his roommate while they were on the floor.

There are two women involved with this home invasion. They still haven’t been charged with anything yet.

Do we know what kind of electric guitar it was? Fender Teles are best for clobberin’.

Perhaps he should be charged with sexual discrimination. Why did he only shoot the men?

Gibson Les Paul would be my choice. Good, solid body, perfect balance, and seems to stay in tune no matter what. And that finish would be easy to clean afterward.

If they got a knife and a guitar and you have a gun, I guess that makes you the Main Man

The victim said, "I'm very banged up about it," he said. "I've shed a lot of tears behind closed doors for Bobby Dellairo and his family."

I think Booby was even more banged up. Bang! Bang!

I normally play a Les Paul or a Tele. The LP is notorious for being easily broken at the headstock or heel. Not so with the Tele. Hard Rock Maple neck bolted onto a Swamp Ash body is nearly impossible to break. Les Paul for jamming, Tele for clobberin’.
