A good portion of the resentment to Newt is caused by the vitriolic attack on Santorum. I won’t bother to list all the names they call him, but Saint Santo, should be enough to get the drift.
I have not criticized Newt nor Santorum, because one of them has to survive to take Romney out and by proxie the E-Pubs. I have directed my snide remarks to those that attack Santorum because of his stand on social issues and his faith. Newt has the ability to defend his positions without the insults I see here.
Simple logic would dictate a united attack on Romney since it appears Ru Paul has made a deal with the devil, else why is he running attack adds in MI, when he isn’t running there.
