Personally, these candidates may have been, and may be now s.o.b.’s, in some form or fashion, but they are OUR s.o.b.’s.

I will tell you where they were. THEY were ensconced in regret, plenty of income, whatever the source, contemplation and mostly supreme cowardice, topped off with bad polling numbers, and bent on avoiding getting any crushed glass under their finger nails, which is a certainty in a primary!
