RASMUSSEN POLL: Obama Approval at 45%, Lowest in Month—President Falls Behind Romney and Paul
Rasmussen Reports ^ | Rasmussen Reports

Posted on 02/27/2012 8:11:25 AM PST by RobinMasters

Romney 45% Obama 43%... Paul 43% Obama 41% Obama 45% Santorum 43% Obama 49% Gingrich 39%...

----------

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 (see trends). That’s the president’s lowest rating in over a month.

Matchups between President Obama and GOP hopefuls shift along with the president’s Job Approval ratings. As a result, with the president’s overall approval ratings down six points since Valentine’s Day, the general election polling is looking weaker for the incumbent. It remains to be seen, of course, if this is merely statistical noise or a lasting change signaling that the president’s recent bounce in the polls has come to an end.

For the first time since late December 2011, Mitt Romney leads the president in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. Romney earns 45% of the vote, while the president attracts support from 43%. Romney holds a nine-point advantage among unaffiliated voters.

The historic trend data posted for 2/26 has an error in the "strongly disapprove" number of 21% - it was 40% for 2/25 and is reported today at 42%.

There is no way it would swing that wildly.

Zero is the type of captain who would accept demotion right before he knowingly sunk the ship.

Watch this stuff... OK corral messiah of liberals has never been a good thing to side with. These people are ridiculous.

Rasmussen Reports determines its partisan weighting targets through a dynamic weighting system that takes into account the state’s voting history, national trends, and recent polling in a particular state or geographic area.

Translation: Rasmussen calls a lot of DemocRATs

I almost fell off my chair when I saw the change, I sure hope you are right! Otherwise we’re looking at a big shift from strongly disapprove to slight disapproval?? Why do I find myself yelling at my PC and TV all the time saying, America, Wake Up!!!

In any event Rasmussen has gotten the word to get the polls "right" for our first ever Arab messiah.

Newt Gingrich has either been savaged or ignored, and still he is within ten of O in this poll.

If, and that is a sad if, given what has happened to him, those who do not want Mitt were to be strongly for Newt Gingrich, he would be right up there where the others are, or better.

Reagan trailed Carter, too.

At the end it wasn’t close.

I support Newt and will not change because somebody tried to force me to support Santorum because he’s not Romney.

I dread to think what Obummer will do when his advisors tell him that he can’t possibly win.

It will not be pretty but it will be quick. Be prepared.

If one factors in the +/- 3% MOE, 3 of our 4 candidates could be ahead of Obummer. So much for all the talk that the GOP is tearing itself apart and boosting the Rats in this lengthened Primary. It also shows that Milt isn’t the only viable candidate for beating Obummer. 2 others also look like they have just a good a chance. His electability argument falls apart once again.

I have kept this on my desktop for a while now, and read it once in a while to remind me how we got obammy in the first place. I think this Czech newspaper hit the nail o the head:

“This quote was translated into English from an article appearing in the
Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of
entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier
to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore
the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate
willing to have such a man for their president.”

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who
is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the
fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that
made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who
 made him their president.””

He had a bump over the last month when the cooked ‘numbers’ on the economy and unemployment first hit the streets. $5/gallon + gasoline and the reality of the economy finally hit and 0bama’s Rassmussen numbers are dropping like a rock.
