My impression is that he ruled as a coward. Fear of a violent Muslim backlash outweighed fear of non-Muslom backlash.

I don’t know if this is the same case,
but there was a case of a Muslim judge that threw out a case of assault by a Muslim on an atheist,

and he vehemently chastised the atheist for “insulting Islam”.

Actually, it was very courageous in a communist sort of way, to give radical Muslims the power to beat up Infidels in a country that is over 80% Christian.

I would not mind Leftists facing the music of their hateful and unconstitutional ideology. Turn around is fair play.
