But Newt's going to have to win at least one state outside the south if he's going to be viewed as a serious contender.
Right now, he is campaigning to win his home state of Georgia and hoping for an upset victory in neighboring Tennessee.
I sincerely wish the prospects were better, but right now the realistic choices are Santorum or Romney.

Santorum is crashing and burning, and it’s no one’s fault but his own. I am all for Newt, but I’m a realist and I don’t see him seriously challenging Obomney during the primaries. Our only choice — and hope — is for a brokered convention.
