plant your feet, lean into, beat it back. Newt is doing just that, and so are those who support him... thanks for supporting Newt - hope the foxhole is comfy and cozy... you may be there a while longer :)

You will find many in the Santorum camp who see him as the better candidate. I am not calling for either to drop out; that is a decision better left to the candidates. I am simply wondering if, with the tone of the attacks, whether Gingrich, or to a lesser degree, Santorum has any hope to pick up the majority of the other’s followers.

If Mitt Trotsky and Jew hater Ron Paul can have an alliance, why can’t the two bonafide Conservatives do the same ?

I voted for Gingrich, but I like Santorum a lot, and if Newt doesn’t win (I still have my fingers crossed), I would have no problem with supporting a Santorum candidacy, just as I know most Santorum supporters feel the same way if the situation was reversed.

In case anyone hasn’t noticed, it’s open season on Conservatives. We need to stick together. A war between Santorum and Gingrich supporters is utterly counter-productive.

We’re on the same side, for cryin’ out loud!

The venom should be directed at the enemies of the Conservative Movement: libs and their failed messiah Obama,
RuPaul and the liberaltarians, Mitt Trotsky and his RINO herd, and Radical Islamo-Nazism. Target rich environment if I ever saw one.

What we do know is ... all candidates are willing to say, do, support, most any ideas that will propel them to more voters, including using any information or misinformation against their running mates.

They want to win BADLY! and will do whatever is possible according to each of their ethics to win the office. Doing the necessary to win is understood be all concerned "to be how it is done"!

Bad policy (unfortunately) for America.

I would hope that everyone in the Santorum camp sees him as the better candidate. :)

I didn't post an attack, I posted a documented action, and provided footnotes for almost every other paragraph, so there would be no mistake that I was posting facts only... I spoke to Santorum supporters with accuracy and respect for their intellect and ability. And then, asked them to think about how I interpreted the facts...

I was trying to have a discourse beyond a lot of name calling and knee-jerk reactions.

I should have worded that comment better. Sadly, there are many in the Santorum camp who will not go to Newt, just as there are many in the Gingrich camp who will not go to Rick.

What I was trying to say in my fatigue about the post was that I have seen such documented posts cost the poster when the “target” was Gingrich. Somehow, every question about Newt became, at least for awhile, an attack on him.
