Unsure what exactly that was, and always wanting to learn new insults to use on my sisters, I asked my grandmother.
She was watching television at the time, and she pointed to the TV as Jackie ‘O Kennedy was talking.
That is a dingbat, she said.....Never forgot that.
Later on I added airhead and nutjob to Jackie’s descriptions, but those came naturally to the idiot princess of camelot (barf)
