What would you require for proof? I doubt there is any that would suit you, which is why I made the ridiculous proposal.
Lawyers have moved us so far into insanity that there is probably no recovery possible. There was ample evidence presented to doubt the authenticity of either document. There was no evidence presented as to who created them, but it is clear who stood to gain by their acceptance as authentic.
If they are not authentic, then there was a crime committed, and I don't care where anyone was born.

Had you been less interested in trying to make me appear ignorant or a skeptic, you could have been more helpful and tried to answer my questions. I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV, but I am going tp have to provide a solid chain of evidence to take on the next skeptic who wants to play "Obama is a real citizen and you birthers are nuts!"
What was presented as a link to the article took me to a 4:18 video clip that covered NONE of the material TheCipher helped me to find. That was all I was looking for, just a smidgen.

As a birther, I'll say this: This site is operated as the owner wants it to be. If you think that Jimrob has less sense than the salad you ate for lunch then maybe, just maybe, you might want to go elsewhere. The 'birther' stories are not considered breaking news at Free Republic for WHATEVER reason and it doesn't really matter what that reason is. Deal with it.

Recording the press conference ties the information about the birth certificate to Sherif Joe and his cold case team. This now creates a link between the forged BC and a legitimate legal authority investiagting allegations as to the veracity of Obama's BC.
THAT's why it is important to record the press conference. This way there is a complete story.
Of course, being a dumb guy, I can't figure this out for myself, so why don't you share your wisdom with me and tell me the REAL story??
Are you serious? Was “buttkisser” already taken as a screen name when you signed up? I imagine that the powers that be are perfectly capable of speaking for themselves if and when people cross whatever line there is, but I have no reason to believe that someone making a quip about the priorities in tracking breaking news stories requires anyone’s special attention. Perhaps least of all the quibbling of self-appointed forum protocol policemen who take it upon themselves to attempt to direct what others may or may not say.
