Before you propose it, NO, I do not want the government paying for my meds, I don't want the government "giving" me health care, and I sure as hell don't want a government employee between me and my doctor.
If you don't understand that government "free" health care means that the government has complete control of your life, then you must be snorting birth control pills. Government health care will not care for me or any other asthmatic or diabetic or anyone with comorbidity, they will just make us comfortable until we die off. Obama has already stated that the elderly do not deserve high cost health services, instead of a pacemaker, he said they could just take a "pill". Don't you wonder why the advancement of assisted suicide is running parallel with the advancement of government health care??
I love your reasoning.
Another way to look at this would be if she wanted to drive a car and instead of her paying for her own insurance she demanded the rest of us foot the bill for her own personal pleasure.
As far as I’m concerned if the government can hold men accountable for child support then the same government should hold women accountable for paying for their own contraceptives.
Socialism is a FAILED economic system which is what everyone is arguing about. Feel free to move to Greece and enjoy the Socialist utopia there. Your village is missing its idiot.
“And what about young married couples who dont yet want to have kids? Or who find out that a genetic condition would make having children inadvisable?”

“Birth control pills are a legitimate health care need”
BC is NOT a “NEED”, and definitely not a “health” need!
It was intended only to make it easier to have sex and not have babies - that is why it’s called BC. There are only a few uncommon things that are INCIDENTALLY helped by BC pills - but we (and you, by the following phrase in that sentence) are NOT talking about that. We are talking about their original intention, as indicated by the common nickname.
Not have babies is not a “health need”! It has nothing to do with your health!
“I actually had fluke at a restaurant in New York Tuesday night...”
When you say “you had Fluke” ........
Limbaugh was a fool. Unable to resist his talent for ridicule, he fell right into the trap Obama and Pelosi had laid for him: instead of keeping his eye on the ball — freedom of religion — he bought into the Obama narrative that this is all about contraception and access thereto. Rush screwed up and is going to be paying a big price. He let the rest of us down too.
In essence, those lacking said tolerance are much like Islamists who would execute (stoning or head removal) an Islamic woman for driving a car.
Also ... adding to my post 107 comment on intolerance ...
One major lesson I've learned from life is that intolerance backed by religious precepts can be drastically wrong; especially in precepts involving science and sex.

Intolerance of evil is virtue.
And rampant sex outside of marriage is NOT good for the USA. Neither is PAYING women to have sex good for the USA, nor having large numbers of women who think they are ENTITLED to being paid for their sexual activities...
Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics, in Human areas involving pleasure and pain, defines Licentiousness as an excess vice, Temperance as a virtue, and Insensibility as a deficiency vice.
In other spheres of human activity, Aristotle's remaining Virtues are ... Courage, Liberality, Magnificence, Magnanimity, Proper Ambition, Patience, Truthfulness, Wittiness, Friendliness, Modesty, and Righteous Indignition.
Regarding Aristotle's remaining Vices, let's call them recommended reading.
I’ll choose God over Aristotle for defining good & evil.
That does NOT mean we are not ALL sinners. But sin - evil - is to be repented of, not accepted or praised. Roughly half of all births are now out-of-wedlock. That is not good for our society, and the trend is not our friend.
