Mitt Romney, while he was Governor of MA and afterwards either supported or implemented the following:

Thanks for the list, but I didn't really need it. I lived in Massachusetts during all four years of Romney's governorship. It is not easy being a conservative in Massachusetts.

To be clear: I can't stand the guy. But Obama is worse because he has the socialist machine in motion, and four more years will render our country unrecognizable. Obama also has the media machine to advance the narrative. We won't stand a chance.

In 2008 I said I would never vote for McCain the RINO, but in November there I was. Voting third party is a waste and we all know it.

Just please be willing to ask yourself, "Which would be worse?" A second, unfettered Obama presidency, or a new President, new Cabinet, new administration from top to bottom? If Mitt sucks (and he probably will), we can primary his ass and keep working on finding a new Reagan. But if Obama skates to another term, we may not get that chance.

The thought of an unfettered Obama scares the living crap out of me. It should have that effect on all conservatives too.

And at least we won't have a president who puts his feet on our furniture. That has to be worth something.

From Townhall.com:

WAKE UP AMERICA!
SUPER TUESDAY = LIFE OR DEATH?

Super Tuesday could absolutely mean Life or Death to America as we know and love it.

We are not doing this because we are in love with Newt Gingrich.

We are not doing this because we believe Mitt Romney is evil.

Nor because we believe Rick Santorum is a liberal.

We are doing this because we believe that
Newt Gingrich is the ONLY way to BEAT BARACK OBAMA.
Period.

Life or Death? The media will run with Tuesday’s results declaring more fervently than ever who the Republican nominee is. Candidates will continue to campaign, but the media may be able to finally sway public perception beyond the point of no return.

The media has absolutely, falsely skewed this campaign by oft omitting reference to Newt Gingrich (why?). They created the fake impression that it is Mitt, Mitt, Mitt. And, now, Ricky, Ricky, Ricky... or Mitt (again).

And now, one of the most respected conservatives in America, George Will tells us to
GIVE UP - neither Mitt nor Rick will beat Obama.

We love Mr. Will, but he only has it half right.
He too omitted Newt Gingrich.
More importantly, he discounted YOU! The Real American! The Real American that knows:

If we Rally. If we wake up! If we wake our neighbors!
We will SHOCK everyone in the media - and create Barack Obama’s worst nightmare -
facing Newt Gingrich on the debate stage in front of a National Audience.

THAT’S IT!

END OF STORY!

Nothing else matters. Nothing else is needed. The mask will fall from Obama - his liberal foolishness and incredible failings will be on full display.

So.
It is now time.

Time for Real Americans in every state, Super Tuesday state or not, to wake up, and realize NOW IS THE TIME.

RALLY NOW FOR AMERICA’S BEST HOPE. BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

To Rally:
Live in a Super Tuesday State?
•Vote for Newt Gingrich on Tuesday
•Tell everyone you know, “Wake Up! Its not too late.”
•Drag as many people as you can to vote.
•Join the Rallying cry on Facebook here - share the posts there with all your Facebook contacts now.

Don’t live in a Super Tuesday State?
•Contact everyone you know who does, anyway you can - phone, Facebook, email, smoke signals, etc. Tell them “Wake Up! Now is the time.”
•Join the Rallying cry on Facebook here - share the posts there with all your Facebook contacts now.

If we pull together, the media, pundits and analysts who are so sure that they know our hearts and minds - that believe they can control this election by manipulating us - they may finally realize that they are completely out of touch with America.

Super Tuesday must = Newt Gingrich

Rally today. America as we know and love it will survive.

Your children and grandchildren will thank you. As will we.

With utmost sincerity,

Your team of fellow Real Americans and Concerned Citizens at Winning Our Future and Time To Choose.

Paid for by Winning Our Future. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.

Short term, Obama, Long-term effects at at letting the GOP-E get away with putting an ACTUAL Progressive Liberal into the Presidency, Romney, catastrophically, Romney!

I can live with a House and Senate controlled by the GOP and the Presidency of Obama, I cannot live with a Romney Presidency and a GOP controlled congress that will succomb to his every liberal, big-government, RomneyCare like idea.

With an Obama Presidency, at least I get a congress with a spine.

With a Romney Presidency, just like in Massachusetts, I get the destruction of the GOP.

The thought of a Progressive Liberal lying his way into the Presidency pretending to be a conservative should scare the living hell out of every single conservative.

It should be as scary as the thought of having Obama in the Presidency.

A Congress with a spine? Are you high?

Sorry, I mean no disrespect. But I have no idea how you have formed this conclusion. We have Obama now and the Republican House has no spine. How will that change if Obama gets a second term?

Surely you can't believe that if we keep the House and gain the Senate, Congress will magically grow balls. That won't happen no matter who the President is. We both know that's true.

And besides all that, a second Obama term is sure to see more executive orders, czars, regulatory directives, etc. that directly affect our lives and have nothing whatsoever to do with Congress. He could care less about Congress, and he has shown his contempt for the separation of powers from day one.

Just wait until his second term: he will continue to run the table and flip off Congress, just like he is doing now. And we will be powerless to stop him.

The House, Senate, and the media have let him do whatever the hell he wants. And he wants more.

Then your memory is lacking.

Are they perfect, no.

Do they exasperate at times with their weakness, yes.

But for a good part of Obama's first three years they were rock solid, even including such freaks of nature as Olympia Snowe.

He can only go so far before he runs up against the rock-wall of public opinion.

There will be a tipping point.

Whether that tipping point will be the House and Senate being forced to impeach him by the voting public, or much worse, by force, it will come.

With Romney in charge, we still move to the left, albeit, at a slower pace, but there will be no effort by the GOP to stop it.

The conservatives (better known as the base) will flee the GOP as Romney (with the acquiessence of the GOP Congress) implements policies and laws that are anti-thetical to conservatives and the GOP will be destroyed, much like it was in MA with Romney.

First of all, as I pointed out in a previous post, your conclusion that they have not had a spine is incorrect.

Secondly, your conclusion that we both know that is true is pure hyperbole.

Neither Obama or Mitt Romney are fit to be President.

Both will destroy our individual liberties and freedoms.

The long term damage from a Romney Presidency, the destruction of the GOP, is far worse that what Obama can do.

Romney's destruction may take 4 to 8 years, but in the long run, it will lead to total domination by the Democrats.

We'll just have to disagree and leave it at that. But "Anyone But Obama" is still my favored strategy. It just makes the most sense to me.

(Oh, and Olympia Snowe is a Senator. I was talking about the Republican-Majority House who has been no help what-so-ever.)

I’m not supporting Romney. He’s not better than Obama.

Agreed.

I just cannot get over those who are so quick to suggest that anybody is better than Obama. Wow, what a motivating endorsement that is. And truth be told, Bishop Romney is NOT any better than Obama. Look at his judicial appointments when he was Governor for proof. And Obamacare (Federal version of WillardCare) goes off the radar when Obama runs against its chief author, Willard himself.

The moment he has the Republican nod (God forbid!) he will start tacking left. It will be humorous, in a sickening sort of way, at how the establishment talking heads will excuse this away. And in the end, the Bishop will lose to Obama in the general election anyway.

Look at the states he is carrying and the areas within those states where he is strongest (Michigan is a classic example). I want ANY Romney supporter to tell me that he will take Detroit in the general election, yet without Detroit, Romney would have lost the Michigan primary. Same thing applies for Florida.

I will NEVER vote for Mitt Romney!

Me too! They can take our country down on their own with no help from me.

A known liar will never get my vote - GOP E - so don’t count on it. Your little ‘anybody but obama’ is rooted in fear to instill fear. Tell the hound romney, I’ll spit on him but never vote for him. Romneycare/obamacare - both from the same mindset.

Good Morning onyx, my favorite poster btw. I know you have the ear of Jim R, why is sarah palin and palin gone from the upper right hand corner of page. I used to just click on palin every time I came here

key word search I guess and I would just hit it, is this just because of the downtime recently, or is this a conscious decision to take her name away...

Thanks :)
