The school didn't just suddenly appear overnight, transported from some town in some other state. The school, like any other business, needs to make itself aware of any laws that affect it.
That doesn’t answer my question...
In order to legally carry in the school, the guy needed to have a concealed weapons permit. So the school detained him long enough to determine that. And then they called the police as per the school’s rules.
