It’s not about backup. It’s about offsite backup, in case something goes wrong in your home or office (break-in, flood, tornado, fire) ...

While I have cancelled my Carbonite, off premiss backup
is NOT stupid.
Is your terabyte drive fire, flood, and theft proof?
