Husband is having the backside painted where the summer sun hits! It’s a Victorian Painted Lady! The scaffolding is erected on the backside where the DirecTV dish is located! I have CSPAN on line and it’s live coverage.

Cripes, Romney won VA.

Think with what's happening in Va., Faux is a little early calling it for Mittens with just 4% of the vote in.

This ain't a normal primary, lots of folks in Va. ain't happy with *The Mittens Machine*.

How can they call VA. so quickly with such a small percentage in?

Normally they use exit polls. They are much more prevalent than even a few years ago. Hire a bunch of college kids on the cheap who phone in the numbers.

What I haven't seen is a historical look at how exit polls compare to actual ballot tallys.

Mitt and Paul are the only two on the VA ballot. The reporting is of exit polls.

Turned on CNN and Wolf said up next (after commercial break)is Ohio. Apparently the polls closed and perhaps they have some numbers to report, although I doubt it.

The real story in VA is going to be the pathetic low turnout.

“...but cainconservative must have done something in private freepmail to get banned...”

Trolling a candidate’s every positive thread with crap about that candidate is not a good thing to do. Nor is it wise to dump on onyx and other fine members over and over. It finally gets to critical mass and “boom”.

Repo Men (Wall St. bankers and D.C. ruling class, "more than a few of them belong in prison.")

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2826109/posts

“So there you have it: hedge-fund titans, i-bankers, congressional nabobs, committee chairmen, senators, swindlers, run-of-the-mill politicos, and a few outright thieves (these categories are not necessarily exclusive) all feeding at the same trough, and most of them betting that Mitt Romney won’t do anything more to stop it than Barack Obama did.

If anything, the fact that Romney is having the least luck with the firm that knows him best speaks better of him than does the enthusiasm he apparently inspires in Goldman Sachs et al.”

I know. I've never liked exit polls.

CNN ...cannot make an projection for Ohio.
