Well it was no picnic for Ron Reagan in 1980 pitched against the Bush-ites and the Establishment Republican Party, he had some rough times but stuck it out.

Newt is a brilliant man at counting elections. He will do what he thinks is right. He may be the best debater and most brilliant, but that isn’t translating into votes.

At his presser today hussein wished mit "good luck tonight", and followed it with a sincere "really". He meant it.

“As for Newt, the whole world is against him. I am surprised he is still standing.”

Sarah and Todd Palin voted for him.

Next comes the South!

How does one guy happen to register correctly in OH, or ANY state, and the others don't?

IIRC, some of Myth's "correct registrations" are holdovers from the last time he ran. I may have it wrong, but that would not seem fair to the other's who didn't run before.

Wow you have a great crystal ball, can you tell me what the lottery is tomorrow? Any one of these candidates can take him out in Nov.

A close call in Ohio will at least take that silly Fluke out of the headlines and give us a reprieve from the lies.
I hope :)

Ricky cannot do that.

The more this race goes on, the more I am not sure of that. I think that Santorum would be extremely competitive with Obama. He would get all the mid-west, south, and some western states. I would not be so sure that Rick would lose to Obama. Sure Rick will lose Ohio by a small margin but I think he takes the state in the General.

True. True enough. We do need that out of there.

I must add that if the vote separation between Santorum and Romney in Ohio is too small with 100% in, the state law there requires a re-count. We will have to see if Ohio goes into a re-count. Who knows? Could get another Iowa here, with the recount giving it to Santorum. Stranger things have happened. (95% of the vote in now).

Next comes the South!

Well, Newt has already finished third in part of "the South." Or was Tennessee not in the Confederacy?

Newt supporters talk about the South like it's most of the population of the country.

But the definition of the "South" is going to end up whittled down to being South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Newt basically abandoned Ohio. Super Tuesday to avoid the embarrassment of losing his home state. His ego, and his pro-Israel sugar daddy's $s, are conceding the primary to Mitt and risk conceding the general to Obama and the Mullahs in Iran.

Our best hope may be that we go to convention with Romney+Paul+miscellaneous under 50% of the delegates and hope that one time friends Rick and Newt can cut a deal and outmaneuver the GOP-e there. I know Newt fans want to see a Newt-Obama debate but a Newt-Biden one would be a record setter. The Rats would need to play the Eagleton card again. Newt could play Cheney to Rick's W, without any Rove holding them back. And with Romney's money guys holding their noses and fighting Obama's 'Share-ea' economics.

Welcome to FR, Nobama_ever. I’ll assume it’s all legit, but it IS disappointing that Romney’s pulling another squeaker win.

You are correct, but he might still fall just short of 20%.

Santorum at 19.6% with 95.8% reporting in Georgia.
