The perp was the victim of his own stupidity. There were no other victims, much to the chagrin of the perp/victim.

Awesome ending...Particularly the part where the store keeper empties one gun then pulls another and, apparently, keeps shooting the criminal until the twitches stop...
Gotta love it...
Of course here behind enemy lines (MD), the store owner would be in jail...And the zombies would be attacking his home shortly after the sun goes down...
