Fresh on the heels of various stories about inappropriate name calling, another heart warming story crops up in the news. And if this is any sort of indication as to what we can expect from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the months and years to come, this guy is going to be a national treasure for the GOP.
Leave it to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to one-up Rush Limbaugh in the name-calling department.
“Speaking of prostitutes, big oil’s top call girl Sen Inhofe wants to kill fuel economy backed by automakers, small biz, enviros, & consumers,” the New York-based environmentalist wrote Tuesday on Twitter.
Kennedy was targeting Inhofe for a letter the Oklahoma Republican sent last week to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson that questions the Obama administration’s fuel economy and air pollution policies.
“It’s hard to believe that Robert Kennedy Jr. would choose to use such language — especially this week,” Dempsey said. “I bet he now regrets it.”
Kennedy told POLITICO that he stands by his tweet.
So, let’s see if we can’t update the media professional best practices and standards handbook, shall we? “Slut” is a no go, but “call girl” is OK. Check. “Prostitute” is verboten, but … what was that word Bill Maher used for Sarah Palin again? Oh, that’s right. Salem won’t let me say those words here. But they seem to be A-OK also.

Again, the Kennedys know more about “the lay of the land” than does Spitzer and Weiner and Dodd combined.

Democrats are forbidden by Law to consume any Fossil Fuels or other Petroleum based products. Problem solved.
The first casualty of this Law will be Sandra Fluke. Condoms will be unavailable for use because they contain Oil based materials. She could use “natural” condoms made from Sheep Intestine, but then PETA would really be pissed.
