Harvard Law School’s Professor Charles Ogletree, admitted on our exclusive tape, “We hid this throughout the 2008 campaign. I don’t care if they find it now.”

Hey Journalistas, there are hundreds of you, and millions of us. Good luck with your research!

Halfway through the 5th paragraph, it speaks of his laying out the Acorn scenario piece by piece, which became Breitbart’s M.O.

“ONCE AGAIN...our brilliant “spokesmen” on the right overhype something and make us look foolish. “

-—pinging also to posters on the thread who may have seen the Hannity broadcast.-— so furious am I.

NELSON111: I had the same concerns as you. It didn’t have to be that way. From the moment I heard that the Breitbart team was going to give the “vetting” tapes to Hannity, alarm bells rang. On the other hand, what choice did they have? Who else on TV with his ratings was there to entrust them to?

EPIC FAIL, Hannity!

I also DVR’d the program and just watched it. Then, I searched FR for threads and comments and am surprised there are so few.

I am furious that Hannity squandered an opportunity to present this video without laying the context of a foundation of Obama’s UNBROKEN RECORD SINCE COLLEGE DAYS of his radical/leftist/socialist/communist/racist/and now fascist ideology.

The program should have been constructed with the forethought that new viewers would be tuning in out of curiosity and that this tape, being the first of the Brietbart vetting tapes, required laying a factual background of Obama’s unbroken radical history.

Hannity’s treatment (or, lack thereof) of the tape was one sliver of a notch about the MSM. He looked like another MSM shill.

I would rather not try to guess his motives or analyze the personal shortcomings that led to his colossal negligence, but I will say Hannity is too long in the media-tooth, and our country is too far gone, for him to get a pass on his shoddy and derelict presentation.

I plan to send some version of this post to Hannity. He has already disrespected the intentions of Breitbart. Is he going to squander the rest of the tapes in the same cavalier manner?

I hadn't seen it and it's added.

Because he understood the nature of the media’s ideological corruption so well, he outplayed them like a chess master taking on a child.

From my perspective, Breitbart’s background in Hollywood was an extraordinary asset. We don’t have anyone else like that.. yet.

Closest in that regard that I can think of is David Horowitz who has a similar background as part of the hard core left and is familiar with their thinking, but it’s not the Hollywood/media left.

Thanks for the Derrick Bell pings. Pinging you both here just as an FYI, not for the ping lists.

See my post #83 on Hannity’s coverage of the full Obama/Derrick Bell tape. This is the only thread I have found that addressed Hannity’s coverage tonight (last night).

You're so behind the curve it's funny!

Ummm...let's see (and you can check my posting history)...NO. I haven't watched Hannity in several years. I stopped listening to his show a couple of years ago since all he does is re-hash the same old talking points over and over again.

I stopped watching O'Reilly consistently a long time ago as well...even though I would occasionally tune in. However, when he interviewed Cain and ran all over him...that was the last time I tuned into his show. Emailed him...told him he was a bully...and that was it for me.

So no...not behind the power curve at all. I expected this...which is why I didn't waste my time watching it. I listen to Michael Berry 'cause he pulls no punches. Get my news from FR and the net (stopped watching Fox when they went left). And that's about it.

My biggest issue with Hannity last night was that he kept running his yap, on and on, instead of letting Ben and Joel talk. Introduce them, sit back, and let them tell it.

Ben kept nodding his head like he was going to jump out of his skin he wanted to talk so bad. He seemed pretty amped up about the ‘more next week’ that they have. Let’s hope the next ‘release’ goes a little better. Maybe your communication with Hannity will give him a clue.

You're behind the curve because you don't "recognize" what those "spokesmen" are fixing to do.

...not behind the power curve at all. I expected this...
That's why it's so funny! Reactions just like yours were expected and you delivered right on cue.

You have a right to your own opinion. :)

I believe the short segment on the professor saying "they hid it.." and I commented early on that if search and discovery surfaces information later down the road; would it pack as much punch or influence? Probably not to the radical Left; but become recruiting poster for even more wanna be radicals. BUT There is More to come from Jonah and theBreitbart staff and #friendsofbrietbart ..Malkin was correct in saying BuzzFeed was tweeting the tapes yesterday as the Left knew [we all saw them--suddenly appear] and NPR as well; but omissions were evident with clips tampered with, audio erased. This is just more evidence to expose the bias in the media. If it takes a platform like Hannity so be it. Starts the ball rolling. Puts the Left on the defensive-wow that's a novelty? Bell and Ayers etc were just not "the neighbor" or "the professor" or just "the preacher"--but mentors. That is just the first page of many to follow. I don't know what you expected to see. This was about yellow journalism, the lack of integrity by journalists to do their jobs, to investigate or vet Obama--but they were quick to do so to Palin even making up lies to support "nonsuch-evidence" to support. The professor, Obama's campaign guy, again laughingly said "they hid the tape"..and it was even doctored by or for the media should it surface. More to come-has the Left still on alert.

I never expected a knock out punch in the first round. Malkin was direct on passionate promising continued hot pursuit of the media.[you might want to read the hate tweets she gets and retweets] Contributor Williams was quiet for the most part..that surprised me.

Might like a little more on the Alien interest of Derrick Bell by Slate writer David Weigel:

Hannity was a #friendsofbreitbart, that is why his show was used as their format. Had nothing to do with O’Reilly. If you are on Twitter than you know the impact that Internet format has now for getting the news out especially with all the media names you see here mentioned. It has grown into far more than the stereotyped tweet of your friend making a peanut and jelly sandwich, then going for a jog. The sources become endless but much easier to assimilate to your own interests. Can't beat FR along with Twitter.

There are two things Hannity likes: running his yap and running his yap about himself.

George Allen is now attempting to win back his Virginia Senate seat, which he lost to James Webb in 2006. That macaca term Allen said first he made up, then his grandmother had used the term [whatever].. the "blunder" was spued across the airwaves by Matthews nonstop. Allen was deemed racist. Allen had used the macaca remark to his opponents supporter in a crowd. Allen made a public apology. Allen still lost.

Not very long after that..Chirs Matthews throws a big 5th Birthday Party and who is one of this friends who attends, as I remember it stated his close personal friends would be invited to honor Matthews on his MSNBC Birthday celebration which was held on the studio rooftop [?] George Allen was there in all his glory yukking it up with Matthews..

Guest list, I did have a pic of Matthews and Allen together that night. Now dont you think that odd? Matthews aided in Allen losing, but were good buds directly aft?

I called the whole scenario Political Theater at the time.
