We called Carbonite on saturday morn and switched to Mozy on Saturday afternoon.
Carbonite actually called us on Tuesday morning to speak with the president and it was some management schmuck from Carbonite. We simply asked the guy why his president tried to make a drama of the Rush bit, and he couldn’t give us an answer. Later told him unless the president talks to him, we won’t switch back.
They want our money. We hold marketing agreements for a couple of Hollywood studios and they want our business.
Just a tad too long for a bumper sticker, but clever nevertheless!

On the day I found out Carbonite pulled sponsorship,
I cancelled my automatic renewal.
I’m sure they had many more than me doing that,
and such a huge blip would have had to raise a panic.
Just got an e-mail from Pro Flowers and I replied to them that I was disappointed in their dumping Rush and was cosidering .... Grocery Store Flowers.
Those three words put fear in their heart. And actually grocery store flowers...at least at my local Tom Thumb are really nice, come already arranged and are cheaper when you consider the shipping and handling charges Pro Flowers never mentions.
Letting Carbonite or Sleep Mattress Train back would be a big mistake IMO. Rush really pushed those products.
