Secret Service agent: Clinton’s staff rude, Hillary aloof
Washington Examiner ^ | March 7, 2012

Posted on 03/08/2012 7:47:30 AM PST by rightwingintelligentsia

In a breach of tradition, a former U.S. Secret Service agent has self-published a book that savages the Clinton White House staff as arrogant and rude, suggests former first lady Hillary Clinton was aloof and charges that Bill Clinton endangered himself and agents for a “totally pointless photo op” on the South Korea-North Korea border.

In several anecdotes, former agent Dan Emmett revealed that Clinton’s young staff had “fundamental traits of rudeness and arrogance” that teetered on the verge of being dangerous at times. “Most of these youngsters were from wealthy families, and many viewed Secret Services agents as the hired help,” he writes in “Within Arms’s Length,” an autobiography that provides new details of the inner Secret Service.

In one case he told of an unnamed Clinton staffer who challenged a KGB agent during a 1993 presidential visit to Russia “as if he were dealing with a Wackenhut security officer in Toledo.”

I have heard about the Clintons’ arrogance and lack of breeding from MANY DC friends who were in a position to know.

Emmet probably served with Gary Aldrich. I may have read about him in Gary’s book, but it’s been a while and I don’t remember.

I suppose every president could have some details revealed that would be embarrassing, but when it reaches the level of Clinton and company, I think it’s a national security issue if the agents don’t tell all.

This incident on the bridge to North Korea could have caused a massive international incident. The guy was a juvenile jackass, unfit to be president.

I have never in my life dealt we people so arrogant as those who work in gubbermint.

They believe they are untouchable, unassailable, and miles above the stupid little people who pay them.

There is no such thing anymore as a “public servant”.

Today, you will never hear anyone say, “I'm just a lowly civil servant. I don't make much money.” as you may in an old black and white movie.

Today, getting a job with the gubbermint is like winning the lottery. Pensions, Unions, Vacations, Conferences and travel expenses, Cars, Gas Cards, the best Health Insurance in the country, the best Dental in the country, free Tuition, and a salary that has been documented to be up 30% higher than a non-government worker doing the same job.

It is not just Hillary. All gubbermint workers assume that they are a part of the “ruling class”. And they are not far off.

My cousin did a stint as a white house military guard—whatever the title. Anyway, he said, after he got out of the service, that hillary was an overripe smelly old bitch. They all detested her nasty demeanor. She is an elitist tyrant with a viscereal hatred for underlings, especially in the military and law enforcement.
