He did teach a few classes at Chicago. The student evaluations were available a while ago. Additionally, an acquaintance of mine worked with him there. And I’ve met people who knew him on the harvard law review. He was clearly an affirmative action candidate for editor in chief, but he held the office even if he didn’t do anything while occupying it.
