Because you are arguing over the color of the flames when the town is burning down.

Point out where I supported “kindler/gentler” policies on this thread.
When you have, then you can use your Navy example. Until then, it’s merely more of your flights of fantasy.

No, I was speaking out against “kinder/gentler” policies.
That’s it.

I never accused you of same and you know it. You are protecting your ego from being accused of a blinkered point of view that is far from optimal in addressing the larger issues. Ole Doughboy can never make a mistake!

And then shall I take it that the reason you gave for it was because it might impair the ability of the service people to come home safely. I suppose one might care about that, but in the big picture that is lame.

That's right. So your Navy example has nothing to do with my posts here. It has to do with your vivid imagination, and trying to mischaracterize what I was willing to sign on to, and that's all.
You are protecting your ego from being accused of a blinkered point of view that is far from optimal in addressing the larger issues.
I am defending myself against misrepresentations by you. Your premise here argues that the person who is lied about, or misrepresentations are advanced about, must thereby be a person with an unhealthy ego, if they are compelled to object.
Ole Doughboy can never make a mistake!
I have admitted to making mistakes on the forum. I'm not perfect, and never claimed to be. I will however defend myself against falsehoods, misrepresentations, and disruption.

Come on guys, let it go.
Thanks

Look in the mirror when you say “vivid imagination.”
And on that note I will leave. I will not continue to argue with the delusional.

Hi-Tech RedNeck, seriously... you're saying that isn't a good enough reason?
It is chlling the lengths to which you will surrender your honor, in an attempt to paper over your disgusting behavior.
