No, “emo” isn’t typical of American culture. It’s more of a subculture. But my point is, they’re rejecting muslim/middle eastern culture. And who can blame them? Anything, even emo, is a step up from that.
Emo is not a step up at all. It’s a sick little perverted and dangerous niche. Bisexual, high drug use and suicides? That’s not a step up, sorry.
