Given that Obama’s Jewish American support proportion, is somewhere around the same as his black support proportion.
Not sure if anti-Semitism really matters to Jewish American liberal voters.
I think anti-Christian beliefs matter far more to Jewish American liberal voters:
Their own anti-Christian beliefs.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with my Fiance’s family. Her mother and Grandmother say stuff like “Obama’s one of the most supportive presidents Israel has had in a long time.” When pressed for more clarification, they say that Netanyahu said it, but can’t say when or in what context.
That, tied in with their labelling of nearly every Right wing pol some form of Anti-Semite, I don’t know how to argue it, since there is no rationale in their statements. Given that they know my political stances, I wonder what they say around people who agree with them...
Paul is a good lesson in anti-Christian sentiment.
He spent his life learning and attempting to live “the Law”,
and his faith demanded that the Law was the means of salvation.
Along comes this guy who refuses to kick the Romans out,
says that HE is the way to salvation and that the Law cannot do that,
and people were/are VERY offended.
“Not sure if anti-Semitism really matters to Jewish American liberal voters.”
That’s because they are Jewish. They are not Jews. Big difference.
