Rick spread his time to 50 minutes; Newt had only 30 min.

Defamation...Attack the good reputation of someone.

Do you really want to go there?

In the whole of Rick Santorum's passionate, fact filled, well received speech...

..name me ONE TIME he wasn't telling the truth.

ONE TIME.....

...I'm waiting.

I like your thoughts. Preach it.

People just should not count NEWT out of anything, he's in it to win and he knows how, in spite of all the dirty tricks and lies that are told about him.

Newt just knows the ins and outs of getting 'er done, he knows what he's doing. I have full confidence in him.

Newt is the only one that can beat Obama, Obama knows this as well, that is why he is ONLY campaigning against NEWT, on Newts issues,i.e. Drilling, energy, lol.

Newt scares the h.... out of Obama and rightly so.

Be fair - that is all he needed.

Newt is the communicator.

Oddly enough, I flicked the TV and “All Quiet On The western Front” is on. It reminds me of this primary.

"Besides that he's an amature....6 yrs as a Senator in no way prepares one for President!"

Santorum spent 12 years as a senator, but don't let the facts get in the way of your screed.

I'm also betting he can spell "amateur" correctly.

during the entire segment on oreily tonight rassmusen said nothing about the upcoming primaries. nothing about his stupid poll last week that showed newt down by eight in mississippi. the entire segment was a commercial for romney and how he’s the inevitalbe nominee.

rassmusen is a total hack

Wrong!---The crowd was exceedingly with Rick Santorum...

Trying to push propaganda to spin Santorum isn't going to get it Guenevere.....it was a no brainer Newt took the debate hands up as well as the audiance. That's what happens when you have a Seasoned well prepared Candidate who knows what he's talking about and one who is "trying" to remember what he's been told needs to be said.

Furthermore Santorum , let's say 'borrowed' Newt's lines time and again and obviously so....but could not make the delivery of them being his own.

So, are you saying that it is possible that Santorum could LOSE Pennsylvania? If that should happen; do you think he’ll drop out?

There you go again.

It seems you aren't too familiar with the facts....did you actually watch the speech, or were you too busy typing your opinion first.

To every question, Rick answered fully, articulating every nuance of the questions with facts.

He is brilliant.

HOW is Rick like a cross between Jimmy Swaggart and Jimmy Carter.....DO TELL.

If you can dish it....surely you can explain it.

He did a good speech and got cheers. Evaded answering a couple of the questions and his talking points - EXCEPT for the social conservatism were pure Newt, but he did good.

I was referring to THIS 6 yrs....and yes I did not run the spell check...one does get excited for their candidate when they hit a home run as Newt did tonight.

Go Newt Go!!!!!

BTW For 12 yrs you would think Santorum would have better delvery of what he wants to say and might have done better had he not "borrowed" Newt's points.

I’ll say it again. I’ve been very hard on Santorum (I’m a Newt guy.) but I gave Rick a 9 tonight. I thought he did well, BUT he did NOT answer the Ladies question to satisfaction; IMO. But, he did very, very good. But, NEWT KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK.

Here I am!----I was so busy watching the wonderful, articulate, sharp, disciplined Rick Santorum speak...

..that I just had to listen to it again.

No doubt, the many others who are Rick Santorum fans are giving y'all your thread to enjoy your candidate....

..which is fine...

..but when you start tearing down MY candidate...

..well, it just brings out the mama grizzly in me!

He was amazing, wasn’t he!

I’d like to see Newt get out from behind the lectern. Say “Screw speeches, lets just talk.” Can you imagine if he did that?

Yes it's possible Santorum could loose Pa. Hopefully to Newt....Santorum put a bad taste not only in the peoples mouths but those who he served with....

The problem with voters is they aren't checking his history and so they have only what he says to go on. He's a Big government guy and will always come down on whatever issues will make him look favorable at the time in order to advance his career and has the reputation for just that.

Santorum appeals to those who do not know his history nor how he really operates....they "like" the man he's projecting to the public....but behind that image in another man those who are familiar with him know quite well.....and no thank you....he simply is not the man for this Presidency.

Santorum was hardly "articulate" as he did his usual fumbles trying to remember what he's been told to say...and he certainly was a far cry from wonderful....especially after hearing Newt shoot it out of the park. No comparison...However you're certainly free to see what you want to see in Santorum....those of us who know him know better than to take his bait.

Wrong!---The crowd was exceedingly with Rick Santorum... ...lots of applause, voices raised in agreement...listening to his every word. His speech was awesome!

I know what I heard on C-SPAN, and there was far and away more audible support for Newt than there was for Rick. Either you listened to a different feed, or something else is going on. This is not a bash on Santorum, by the way, I'm just stating that it was clear to me that Newt got far more audible support.
