That's easy. "Newt is the only true conservative left. Santorum should withdraw now." Do you really expect anything else?

>>37% reporting, Updated 10:07 p.m.<<

Yeah, that 37% usually leaves out the inner cities. Once the cities come in...well you know the rest.

These are proportional states, everybody takes a share by the percentage they took. So Romney did way too good tonight. He walks away with about 50 or 60 delegates from both states. Newt is so close to Santorum, that he will only be a few delegates behind. All three candidates can call this a draw, since everybody but Paul took a strong share.

After tonight, Romney will be over the halfway point.

Big question now is:

When the dust settles, how close will Newt-torum be to eclipsing Mitt’s delegate count?

If our candidate is Romney or Santorum, I won’t vote in the presidental race come November. I also did not vote for McCain. Will vote for Republicans in house and senate.

Santorum is about to speak and I’ll turn off the sound when that happens.

In Mississippi, the democrats were given their own cards for the machine.

I'm not sure whether a vote could declare Republican or democrat on site, but I think you could.

The democrats had Congressional and a US Senate seat on their ballots.

At my precinct, I was Republican voter #59 and the democrats had over 200 voters.

Santorum is not the man to “stop Obama”. Rick flinches when faced with just a little biased news coverage from FOX.

GAD.

Newt should stay IN till the end. I have an equal disdain for RS and Mitt

I agree. If RS is the GOP's choice ... I'll write in mine in November. I just can't stand the guy and don't trust him.

Overlooked in all of this is the fact that Ron Paul did horribly, which I don’t quite get...he’s even more of a states-righter than the others, and I would think that would sell pretty well in the south.

you said it well!!

All the campaigns have had wins and losses this season. You just have to roll with the punches. Heck I am not too happy about what the GOP establishment in some states has done against Rick Santorum, but I just keep pushing ahead, trying to “git er done”.

And Romney’s son today in Hawaii said Obama is great.

WTH? This is like McCain saying Kerry would be a good president, and then telling us not to be afraid of Obama. Not surprised at all, sadly.

Mississippi: 87% in. We know that Romney is NOT going to win; will come in third.
