With ALOT of money...he CAN take on Obama. On partial birth abortion he can destroy Dear Leader. McDole wouldn’t go there. Also...on coal/natural gas...domestic energy sources he can ace Barry. I have faith...he is doing too much with NO CASH to be dismissed.

What of those who consider Santorum to BE that next Bush?? Or rather, Bush without the charisma, and intellect...

You are the 3rd Gingrich supporter in this thread who has said that if Santorum WINS our nomination, you will refuse to vote for him, thus helping Obama win the election.

I don’t think this will actually persuade people to accept your opinion that Gingrich is the best conservative.

And Romney gets 7 or 8.

This is more of a beauty contest, with no real winner, everybody wins a prize.

All around bad night for Newt.

Press don't want him, Dems don't want to face him, Reps don't want him to take their earmarks. Conservative don't want him to much baggage. Maybe we can get him to move back to Ga.

Newt was the only man running that could have straighten this mess out.

Santorum wanted a two man race well it looks like he got it. Hope he can withstand Mittens Millions. Mittens superpac will carpet bomb the rest of the US. AL and MS giving 25-30% of their vote to a carpet bagger is proof that a vast majority of this country is up for sale.

My Vote want Count(GA) so I am writing in Palin.

Peace You all have fun and good night.

:)

God be praised. All I wanted tonight was for one of these two candidates - Newt or Rick - to prevail in BOTH states. MS still outstanding count, but Rick's lead is widening. If the Bama numbers hold, that's a solid Santorum win, by no means a "fluke".

C'mon, Ole Miss! Keep up these numbers! 80% in!

Thank you, good Lord above!

Fox is in the tank for SAntorum...

Since when? I've turned them off in recent weeks with all their Romney pimping all the time.

My wife and I said we would vote for either Newt or Rick based upon the polls for Illinois. Newt is running far behind Rick, who is statistically tied with Romney here. It’s a no-brainer to vote for Santorum here, as a result.

Santorum is about to speak and I’ll turn off the sound when that happens. I can't watch him never mind listen. But do let me know if he breaks out in his signature flop sweat.

Well don't give up, Romney might still pull it out. And Obama might even make a second term.

So you’re one of the ones who elected Obama last time. Looks like you’re gonna do it again. ANYONE, ANYONE is better than Obama. Please rethink your (emotional) decision. McCain was abysmal...but would he have been this bad?

The difference for Santo is in the Northeastern of the state that has given him edge in Mississippi, and most of those precincts are in. Newt is about 1% behind - he has a chance to make it up.

What a terrible choice as our conservative reformer. He is so un-inspiring.

To you maybe but not most of the country. I really thought that Newt was going to take both states. I am actually very surprised. I was willing to wish Newt congrats had he won. I sure am glad that Santorum won Alabama. Maybe Newt can win MS.
