Actually, that was my polite way of not outright calling Santorum a mouth breathing dolt who can’t stand toe-to-toe against Obama. Better? I would love to see a hard worker in the Oval Office, but if you are working at the WRONG issues at the WRONG time in the WRONG way then it is pointless. If your toilet is clogged you don’t rewire a lamp (and hire your union buddies to do it).

For me it is not hatred. I truly believe, with all my heart and soul, that Rick Santorum cannot beat Obama. Sorry, that’s just it, plain and simple. That is why I fight so hard for Newt. We are losing our country and to lose to Obama will just be what I believe to be the final nail on the coffin.

Marcella is a true conservative. Rick Santorum is NOT...remember RS voted for Sotomyer and McCain did NOT!

There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough! NO to RS and no to Romney! not a dimes worth of difference between the two imo. Would love to see a 3rd party arise from this...the Constitution Party...btw Newt is on Fox NOW

Perhaps if you had bothered to read further, you would have read my apology, as I had completely read the post incorrectly.

Now, do you have any other stupid questions?

You are right. As some Freepers posted the other day, Romney is campaigning to maximize the number of delegates. If the top 3 vote getters receive 7-10 delegates each, the race is more or less the same as before in terms of delegates. If anything different, it’s the fact that Newt couldn’t win AL and perhaps also MS. Santorum shows he can be competitive in many regions. Despite what some radio hosts said, I’ve never believed Romney to have any hope to win AL or MS. If Romney gets HI and/or Samoa, he’ll get the most delegates of the evening.

What are you pimping? Here’s Newt’s testimony on “global warming”...you obviously have not seen it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEOXI88lSw8

Too bad Rick can’t be that articulate about the subject.

And “global warming” was NOT mentioned in, and was not the subject of the “on the couch” ad with Nancy.

Santorum/Palin 2012

I'd love that but I have to say that's my one real reservation about Rick, I have no clue who he'd pick or if they'd be acceptable. But God will take care of the details, He always does.

By golly, "Big" Ricky pulled the doggone thing off tonight in the deep south! Take THAT, your "double tap", Establish RINO-dom in DC! Hear that! From the heartland!?

I hope they have to start hitting the bottle tonight, even in Salt Lake City on Temple Square.

PS This also puts the narrative to bed about Rick not being popular with "women vote", he carried that vote segment well in both southern states today is what I am getting in exit polling. Of course he is not going to carry the granny-glass, pimple- faced, pot smoking, pierced/tatooed 20-something, libertine, AC/DC, shacking up, needs fed money for condoms liberal Democrap women skanks in the general, but, hey, onward and upward. Onward to Illinois. Onward to a decent Republican 2012 Platform written. Time to really take it to Mitt Romney now (cannot believe this is all on a shoestring with the array of MSM, RINOdom, GOP state parties, and big wig endorsement names, talking heads like Karl, not to mention Romney mega-warchests and scurrilous attack ads, aligned against "Big Ricky".)

Newt: Congrats to Santorum, he ran a positive effort. Delegates are proportional...on to Tampa. The notion that Romney is the frontrunner collapses...if you keep coming in third you aren’t a frontrunner.

Go Newt!

Hank... You are a very classy, Patriot! And if something “changes”
And Newt is the “antiRomney” when it’s time to vote here in PA...I’ll vote Newt.

I WILL NOT stay home to WASTE my vote on writing in someone else.

No Obama and No Obamney!

The biggest problem you have is, you still don't realize that there is no way for Santorum to win. It is virtually over in favor of Romeny mathematically. And you won't like the result if Newt does drop out.

The South is just a small portion of the biggest states yet to come. And Romney will take strong portions of several proportional states and also, several key, winner take all states. Santorum did not gain all that much in delegates tonight.

We are in severe trouble-the religious right gave him the win/not the unity of conservatives.

You are absolutely right. The James Dobson crowd, who said we can't have Callista in the White House, she's an adulterer. The deep south is full of them, as well as some here on FR. Just don't give up, and don't give in. It has nothing to do with math, with delegate count. It has to do with principles. Santorum is corrupt, and his self-righteousness, and gospel of good works abrogates the saving work of Jesus Christ. As far as I/m concerned, when Newt says it's over, it's over. Until then, I have no doubts. I am praying for all Newt supporters tonight.
