Head to desk-Santos is No prime time player.

We are in severe trouble-the religious right gave him the win/not the unity of conservatives. We Need Newt. The country needs Newt. Rush, Mark Levine won tonight. The Media won. Obama won. The other patriots are screwed. This is not right-this even feels wrong-Newt should be the conservative leader not this guy. The turnout was Down (hello)

Somewhere in cyberspace there's an email between Rush and Mark with the words: "What the hell did we do? Who thought he'd be viable....we were just going for ratings!"

You are absolutely right. The James Dobson crowd, who said we can't have Callista in the White House, she's an adulterer. The deep south is full of them, as well as some here on FR. Just don't give up, and don't give in. It has nothing to do with math, with delegate count. It has to do with principles. Santorum is corrupt, and his self-righteousness, and gospel of good works abrogates the saving work of Jesus Christ. As far as I/m concerned, when Newt says it's over, it's over. Until then, I have no doubts. I am praying for all Newt supporters tonight.

Newt is the best debater and has some great ideas; albeit, he has had some bad ones, too, and has supported some grossly liberal things (ind. mandates, cap and trade, sat with Pelosi concerning global warming policies, told off all tea partiers, wants to spend money on space exploration, etc.). Santorum has even more liberal items in his past, but he claims he did most of them to “get along” (still, he has stood firm on loving earmarks, which shows some stupidity). However, I can believe him on his ill-followed “get along” policy where I can't for Newt's liberal positions, who should have always had the intestinal fortitude to stand for Reagan since he respected Reagan.

To Rick's credit, his moral example is solid, while Newt can't seem to keep his most solemn promise to currently two of three of his women-it either shows he really cannot be trusted or it shows he can't keep his privates, private-which, I guess, again means he can't be trusted.

Neither of these men is a “Romney”. Sadly, if Romney gets the nomination, we will be voting for him as he lesser evil over Obama.

We can't change the world overnight and we didn't get where we now are in a day. We must continually push back, and if that means in increments, so be it.

Flame away as you see fit. I stand by my words.
