>>...the Secular Right will now rally around Romney and beat Santorum 2-1 from here on out.<<

You know, Santorum’s been trying to discuss issues for four or five weeks now, but he’s had to fight through “everyone else” wanting to talk contraceptives, etc.

He’s intelligent, conservative, and will do just fine. Gingrich was losing women by large margins, and Santorum has gained them, so all the b.s. by “everyone else” backfired.

People are going to be very surprised when they actually listen to Santorum and find out that he knows a lot about most of the key issues of the day. And now they’re going to get to do that, because he’s clearly the last man standing against “Romney, the Inevitable.” Inevitable, my butt.

Newt needs to stay in until the fat lady sings.....I’m not looking to admire Newt, I;m looking to see him seated as President of the United States...and I’m looking to see him pull this off....and if it means going to convention then so be it.

What I won’t do is support either Newt, ( or Santorum for that matter,) dropping out...that should have been determined awhile back if either was going to do that. So No.... on til the finish line!

Go Newt GO!!!!

John King just sketched in a scenario on CNN whereby if Gingrich leaves now, Santorum could catch up to Romney’s delegate count. But it would be IMPOSSIBLE to do so if Gingrich continues in the race.

Time for true conservatives to now demand that Gingrich quit. He was a spoiler in WA, MI, and OH. Enough is enough unless we want Romney. Interestingly, on Super Tuesday Carl Cameron reported on FoxNews that the Romney camp is “happy” to have Gingrich in the race. Gingrich’s sugar-daddy dropped him a $20m rope because he dislikes Santorum’s social conservative views and is a strong supporter of Israel and likes Gingrich’s idea of wanting to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem- a move that every American president since 1980 has been unwilling to do.

Victory is sweet and the Santorum haters have no option other than to do a huge face plant tonight..right into an Ann Coulter pie.

Congratulations to the whole Santorum family!

Now on to the Badger State and victory on April 3!
Wisconsin Freepers; Prepare for battle.

I don’t know if that is still possible, or if the GOP Establishment will intervene and give it to Romney—or Jeb Bush.

See my tagline.

Geez. 5% and 4% in each state. Paul is really igniting a fire with his campaign. I guess his base smoked a little too much dope last night and slept through the election.

I would have preferred Sarah Palin, but in her absence, Santorum has been my first choice.

I don't believe Santorum-Palin is out of the question.

My dream ticket!

I just don’t like being manipulated. Manipulated by establishment Republicans, maniplulated by the Romney sleaze machine, manipulated by Obama’s fake contraception issue, which helped Santorum. I guess I’m a bitter clinger. Go Newt!

Don;t get bitter...remember not to underestimate Newt...look how well he did with all the powers that be against him! Santorum's been riding on the media push and the fact nobodys putting out there negatives about him in the media should tell people something...... I have a feeling when he mentioned convention early on that that was exactly where the last round will be fought and he's been gearing up for just that. It ain't over til Newt says so!

>>All of the liberal talking heads are telling us that Newt should get out.<<

It’s really a moot point. People are going to vote for Romney or for the candidate with the best chance of beating Romney. Gingrich is no longer that candidate. His fundraising is going to dry up too, because only an idiot would blow money out the window at Gingrich after tonight’s results.

Face it. Santorum blew away everyone tonight, against expectations of the conventional wisdom, the pollsters, and both Romney and Gingrich supporters.

Someday, a movie will be made about the guy who started from scratch, following a horrible defeat in his home state after he stood his ground with Bush on Iraq, then won Iowa by visiting every county, took the South against all odds, overtook Romney on the way to the convention, and won the general election in a landslide against the least popular sitting President since Jimmy Carter. What Rick Santorum has accomplished so far is stunning, and there’s no reason to believe it won’t continue.

And I write this as a former Palin, then Perry, then Cain, then Gingrich, then finally, Santorum supporter. What he’s accomplished is impressive.

I haven’t done this, but pencil in Texas’s 150 plus delegates into Santorum’s column and it would seem to be neck and neck to me. He could win this thing going away.

:)

But really, you would think that "us" (freepers) should take better care of each other... if nothing else just be semi-polite to each other... because at end we need all of us, including Ron Paul supporters, so why make it more difficult? Are we really as stupid as most people think we are?

In all fairness, the liberal talking heads would be calling for Newt to get out if he was sweeping every state.

Those liberal talking heads might secretly think that Santorum has no chance in the general, but would win a Romney vs. Santorum only primary.

I think they’re wrong.

Bottom line, there is no chance of a Mitt candidacy if either Gingrich or Santorum drops out and endorses the other. If they both stay in, there’s a strong chance of Mitt being the GOP nominee. For me, that’s enough to admit defeat and say “well done Rick” and bow out.

Well that was a heck of a spin on Santorum!

Santorum got his uptake becasue of the media...and they sure explained that this past Sunday....the idea being they know the Republican conservatives do not want Romney .....so Santorum is the next bet for them as one Obama can beat...you do note very little negatives were said about Santorum....he’s the establishments plug to keep Newt in check.....and the media pundits are playing the tune for Santorum to ride.....

Good grief I simply cannot imagine SAntorum’s ego and his temperment in Washington....what a joke....the guy put on a show and the people have bought it....I’ve been warning people all along about Santorum .....and the people aren’t listening an more than Obmas people did.

What makes you think 0 doesn’t have the ability to beat Newt? Newt has a quick wit and the brains to back them up, but he should have thought of running for president when he was pal-ing around with the Dems.

Certainly now Romney knows how repulsive he is to Conservatives, and that he has no shot in the General, because Conservatives will not vote for him, even if he is the nominee.
