There is a book on this subject, “A Question of Honor. The Kosciusko Squadron. Forgotten Heroes of World War II,” by Lynne Olson and Stanley Cloud, telling of the exploits of the Polish fliers and their experiences post-war.
There is a flick on this if I recall. Is this the one where a squadron leader fighter pilot is szcreaming over his radio “speak English” “speak English” because the guys in the Spitfires are busy jabbering in Polish ?
