“In a wholly predictable development, it turns out the cost for Obamacare will end up being twice the original price that the Democrats said.”
A quick glance at RomneyCare would reveal that those proposing these things always lowball their estimates.
The Sheeple are not concerned. It is all just a lot of mishmash to them.
Their only interest will be the cost of gas, Mcdonalds, and
best actor and actress of the year.
They have been told by PMSNBC that The Obumbo is the messiah
and that is just fine with them.
Those numbers are trillions, not billions. Government schools strike again.
Hey, they are just buying their votes at our expense. They do not care.
What's wrong with that?
It IS reform. That's why the fight was so bitter.
They have destroyed the US medical and hospital services system. Sure, the buildings are still standing, and the workers still show up.
But everything that we rely on is gone, or going.
After the destruction is complete, the state will re-form everything in a Marxist paradigm.
That's the MEANING of "reform". So why the objection?
The cost of Medicare is a good place to begin. At its start, in 1966, Medicare cost $3 billion. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that Medicare would cost only about $ 12 billion by 1990 (a figure that included an allowance for inflation). This was a supposedly conservative estimate. But in 1990 Medicare actually cost $107 billion.

Given the fact that Congressional mendacity is more developed now than in 1966..we can definitely expect several orders of magnitude worse...
The numbers as written are correct........
Obama has taken the deficit parabolic. Increased taxes will not cover this debt. There is only one way out.
Obama care has to go in it’s entirety.
Along with the Dipstick himself.
His airplane flights have doubled also.
Precisely!
So with history as our guide, we choose to ignore it.
Remember in recent memory, when Republicans were accused of letting medicare or Social Security die on the vine? I can’t remember which one, but it really doesn’t matter it is two peas in a pod. The howls of pain and anguish from dems could be heard world wide.
The dems steal a half trillion dollars to help “pay” for Obama care and not a peep.
I call hypocrisy, for all the good it will do.
Sadly true. To the left, and Obama in particular, money is something that can be created endlessly by government out of the air. There is no need to ever worry about things like deficits. Similarly, the left believes that the economy is the government and the more people in public sector jobs, the better and more stimulative to the economy. Meanwhile, the GOP-e is quiescent and unable or unwilling to attack Obamacare with these numbers or, more than prefunctionarily, with anything else, apparently.
There is only one way out.
Drill baby drill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Insights for Christians taken from Psalms 53: New King James Version.
...”They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good.”
...”God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Every one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt;”...
...”Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?”...
...”For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; You have put them to shame, because God has despised them.”...
Just remember. The world may be totally corrupt and full of mortal men and women who are trying to be God. They will not succeed for the true Creator will not tolerate the abuse of His people for long.
That's jsut for starters.
In 1967, the House Ways and Means Committee predicted that the new Medicare program, launched the previous year, would cost about $12 billion in 1990. Actual Medicare spending in 1990 was $110 billionoff by nearly a factor of 10.
In 1987, Congress estimated that Medicaids disproportionate share hospital (DSH) paymentswhich states use to provide relief to hospitals that serve especially large numbers of Medicaid and uninsured patientswould cost less than $1 billion in 1992. The actual cost that year was a staggering $17 billion. Among other things, federal lawmakers had failed to detect loopholes in the legislation that enabled states to draw significantly more money from the federal treasury than they would otherwise have been entitled to claim under the programs traditional 50-50 funding scheme.

Actually, that might work too. I get stuck in the supposed inevitability of Obama’s re-election.
...or perhaps more to the point right this instant.
Build the damn pipeline.
You don't need 650,000 B/D of secure oil and the refining and construction jobs that go with it. Chu and Obama have said so, they both have Nobel prizes and you and I don't, so they must be a lot smarter than us.
Check my tagline for the answer.
Nobel prizes. Mom always said if you can’t say anything nice...
PS, I knew the answer.
