The GOP/RNC blew it, for far too long these elitist north east, beltway types have been giving us McCain etc and then thinking because they put the likes of Sarah on the VP ticket we’ll get in line, hell even this week Romney said we down in the south , the base will unite after the nomination.

Establishment backs that then the base will come out and work but if the establishment and their talking heads who care nothing about conservative social issues and hardly anything about fiscal issues then you can bet we’re staying at home, doing no work, no get out the vote, no money , no donations etc.

One thing for sure with NEWT in this race, he is explaining the history of America, which MANY do not know, he is educationg them now, they best listen.

Newt is for Newt, if he can do this and there is a broker convention, it makes him the “king maker”, because when he withdraws he can assign his delegates to the person he can wield the best position for in trade for his delegates. His ego is fed, he will have a position of power and ergo he will be the most powerful person there in his mind.
