Obama has incessantly criticized Republican for being pro-drilling, yet he boasted in this speeck about how he’s done nothing but “drill, baby, drill” since he was elected.
And the brain dead crowd roars with approval.
What is it with Democrats and half-truths? Nobody said we aren’t drilling. Our contention is that he is personally standing in the way of permitting more drilling in the future. The press who cover him know this, but they know their access will be gone if they try to probe past the weasel words.
Smirking. Sanctimonious. Mocking. Derisive.
This is the president “discussing” a critical issue to the future of the country. He’s practically bouncing up and down in glee as he hurtles us toward our demise.

That repetitive rhetorical device is getting old and tired too. He uses it a lot. That’s the way I talked to my toddler.

Exactly! That's how he gets away with these statements without concern about being called a liar. He and his ilk (the 'we') don't drill anything, so his statement is technically true in his mind. It's pathological.

Obama’s condescending attitude isn’t going to win any support.
He is clearly feeling the pinch between his nut-case enviro-base and polls that show that gas prices are killing his re-election prospects. I’ve heard that he is difficult to work with. He is moody and is frequently unpleasant.
In this case, his fustration is coming out sideways.
Right, and it’s the taxpayers who are getting drilled.
He’s a liar and why shouldn’t he be. He knows he can get away with it because of the knee pad press that worship him. There are no investigative journalists to be found unless there is a Republican President. Forgerygate is way more serious than a simple cover up. Fast and furious is even more serious because people died. What does it take to get the press to do their job? Even Russia notices and they are the experts at manipulating the press.
